By using this website or booking an appointment through it, you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.

This site is not medical advice

Everything on this website is general information about acupuncture and about our practice. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for care from a physician. Reading this site does not make you our patient — that begins at your first appointment.

If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. Do not use this site to report urgent symptoms; we may not see a message for days.

Acupuncture is a complement to medical care from your physician, not a replacement for it. Individual results vary, and nothing here is a promise of any particular outcome.

Booking an appointment

Booking through this site requests a specific time with us. Your appointment is confirmed when you receive a confirmation message. If a time becomes unavailable between your request and our confirmation, we will contact you to reschedule and refund any deposit in full.

Please give accurate contact details. If we cannot reach you, we cannot confirm or reschedule your visit.

All appointments are cash-pay. We do not bill insurance; on request we provide an itemized receipt you can submit to your own plan.

Deposits, prices, and payment

Some appointments require a deposit to hold the time. The deposit is applied to the cost of your visit — it is not an extra charge.

Prices shown on this site are the current cash-pay prices for the services described. Prices can change; the price that applies is the one quoted when you book.

The balance of your visit is due at the appointment unless we have agreed otherwise.

Cancellations and no-shows

Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice and any deposit is refunded in full, or moved to your new appointment if you prefer.

Cancellations inside 24 hours, and appointments you do not attend, forfeit the deposit. This is not a penalty for its own sake — a missed appointment is a treatment slot another patient could have used, and short notice makes it impossible to fill.

To cancel or reschedule, use the link in your confirmation message or call (561) 353-4150.

If we need to cancel or move your appointment, you get a full refund of any deposit, and first choice of a replacement time.

Using this website

Use the site for its intended purpose: learning about our practice and booking appointments. Do not attempt to disrupt it, access parts of it you have not been given access to, scrape it at scale, or submit anyone else's information without their permission.

The text, images, and design on this site belong to Lotus Center of Oriental Medicine. You are welcome to link to us. Please do not copy substantial portions for your own commercial use.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to services we use for booking, payment, or maps. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limits

We keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, Lotus Center of Oriental Medicine is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability relating to the professional care we provide, which is governed by Florida law and our professional obligations, not by a website notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, with the date at the top. If you have an appointment already booked, the terms that applied when you booked continue to apply to that appointment.
